Yoga for Osteoporosis Workshop
In this workshop we will be learning the 12 yoga postures in Dr. Loren Fishman’s Yoga for Osteoporosis method. Dr. Fishman MD is the founder of the Manhattan Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center and a researcher on how yoga benefits bone building. This method is scientifically validated through longitudinal studies. Judith is a certified yoga instructor in Dr. Fishman’s method and will be leading workshops and classes at the Kula Collective. It is recommended that students take the workshop before coming to the ongoing supportive class. This class requires no prior yoga experience.
